Ugh, what a frustrating situation. I booked an appointment with this dental clinic in New York, NY about two months ago and confirmed they accepted my insurance. Then, just a week before my appointment, they called to say they're not taking new patients under my plan. Basically wasted my time trying to find a proper dental provider in the area.

Hands down, Dr. Chan has one of the best dental teams in NYC. Nobody ever asks me to open my mouth wider here, which makes the whole experience way better. Took off one star though because scheduling can be super tough—sometimes it's a long wait even with an appointment. Mixed feelings, but the staff gives their full attention, and they once handled an emergency procedure for me on the spot.

Transferred here from a different dental office because I had terrible experiences one after another. Came to Dr Chang one time and I knew the type of treatment/help I was going to get here.The visit was incredible, better than expected. Very informative, great bedside manners. The hygienist was super thorough with the cleaning. I've tried a bunch of dental offices on the list provided by my dental insurance and this is 100% the best one hands down, that's how satisfied I was with my visit. Unlike my other dental offices, Dr Chan didn't try to nickle and dime every little thing. My last dentist told me I had cavities, which I confirmed with two other dentists that I did not. Anyways if this dentist takes your insurance, come here ASAP! They deserve more business. Even if you don't have insurance check it out! I'm sure they have reasonable prices.
