Hesitated to write this because the staff and Dr. Winchester in Columbus have been nice, but something odd happened. During cleanings, he said a crown might need replacing later, but not now. Then the technician asked if I wanted to check insurance coverage right after he left—I said no. Six months later, it's still on my mind. Just felt a bit confusing for my dental care in GA.

Started going to Winchester in Columbus about a year ago. Staff is always friendly, but the best part was when I wasn't approved for new partials—the ladies worked extra hard to help. Ended up paying cash, and Dr. Winchester took time to adjust them perfectly for my restorative dentistry needs. Previous dentists didn't do any of that. Now I can smile with confidence in GA!

Dr. Winchester's bed side manner can be off putting but I ultimately enjoyed his staff. However, after pulling a rear molar, Dr. Winchester confidently told me I would not be needing an implant to replace the tooth as it "was in the back." Unfortunately that did not hold true -- now, not only do I have to get an implant because my top tooth is erupting, but I have to get braces to move the top tooth out of the way since it's moved so much.
I WISH Dr. Winchester has informed me correctly, rather than shrug it off. Now I've got to pay thousands of dollars to get braces because of his negligence.
I have been going to Dr. Winchester for over 20 years. He and his staff are great. They always follow up after procedures and are very good about working you into their schedule if you have an emergency.
Today I called to see if Winchester dental clinic was accepting new patients and was told they couldn’t see me until August. The lady I spoke to was not only speaking to me as if I were interrupting her time but spoke over me and really didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. In fact she had the nerves to say, if you want to check around with other clinics, you can, needless to say I have. Hopefully she treats other new patients better because Winchester won’t be treating me.

I found Dr. Winchester through google. And the reviews are right! The office is so clean and Everyone from the front desk to the dental hygienist to Dr. Winchester, they’re all wonderful! Aimee did my cleaning, she is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I’m taking my whole family here from now on. It’s also a plus that they are in network with our current dental insurance, Ameritas.
Great atmosphere! Dr. Winchester was fantastic. He saved one of my teeth from where I had a root canal done. Professional, helpful and great at what he does, Staff was a great help as well! Very nice visit. Highly recommend!
I have had a lot of dental work in my day, and my experience so far with Dr Winchester has been great. The staff is friendly, and he is really easy to talk to. He explains what he is doing, and it really feels as though he cares about and enjoys helping people feel at ease with dental care.
Absolutely LOVE Dr. Winchester and his staff!!! I called due to being is severe pain and not being able to sleep. They got me in right away. The assistant named Jay was so amazing. She could tell I was nervous (last dentist experience was horrible) she say there and talked to me like we were friends and known each other for years!!! She really helped me calm my nerves. Dr. Winchester came in and told me that everything was going to be okay. He even apologized for the way my last dentist treated me!!! I haven't been to the dentist I years due to anxiety and fear, now I'm ready to go back and get my teeth back on the healthier side!! From the receptionist on the phone to all of the assistants and the dentist even to the last assistant that took my payment ( more than what I had on me but yet she didn't look at me any different) this was the best dental experience EVER!!! THANK YOU DR. WINCHESTER AND EVERY ONE THAT WORKS THERE. ESPECIALLY JAY THE ASSISTANT THAT MADE ME FEEL LIKE FAMILY!!!
LOVE this place! I was having horribly pain (impacted wisdom teeth) and I was able to get in without a problem. My appt was at 10 a.m. and surprisingly enough I was done and heading home within about 30 minutes! The staff is wonderful, very nice and very friendly. The office and waiting room were immaculate. I have never been a fan of dentists, I had a terrible one when I was younger, but I was immediately at ease with Dr. James Winchester. He was very honest and to the point without being rude or condescending. I really enjoyed the nurse that I had too, funny and very welcoming. Even though I was in pain I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I look forward to my regular cleaning appointments now!
