Honestly, my family's been with Yeung's Dental Care for 18 years now—since their old Grand St. office and now in New York, NY. Every visit's been great. Some bleeding during cleanings happens, that's normal dental care stuff. After trying 7 other dentists, Dr. Sammi Yeung is definitely the best for us. Couldn't be happier with the care we get here.

Just called for a phone consultation at this New York dentist, and the attitude was so aggressive and impatient. Don't get why they'd be so rude to people looking for dental care. Really off-putting.

Horrible, if this doctor doesn't want to see pregnant people then simply mention that in advance or in ton of paperwork they send you in advance to fill out...
Went all the way to the office to just fill out paper work again.... and be told by the assistant I should come back after pregnancy.... not even looked at by the dentist... waist of time!!
Had a cleaning today with someone named Sammi Yeang at this New York dentist, and wow, what a bad attitude. Totally disrespectful. Left with my hair and clothes soaked, no apology, and my teeth were bleeding from how rough it was. When I said something, she just shrugged and said "You can come if you want." Honestly felt awful. Not coming back to this place.

Booked a 3 PM appointment at this New York dental office but got sick and called at 1 PM the same day to reschedule. I get that cancellations need notice, but getting banned for an unforeseen illness? That's just disappointing. Had a filling done at this New York dentist that fell out twice in 6 months. Then they suggested a crown—it was a small cavity to start, but after more drilling, it got worse. Switched to another dentist who did a filling without a crown, and it's held for a year. Also, they refused pain meds after a tooth removal when others would prescribe. Zero stars for this dental care.

I don’t even know how many years I’ve been coming here, but I keep coming back. Both Dr. Yeung are very experienced and friendly. The staff are always helpful and educated. I can’t even find anything bad to say about this place.
My mother saw this dentist twice, and it was a bad experience both times. She got a crown for one of her tooth the first time, and it caused her pain for months and dentist told her it was normal. She went back recently to have him fix a small filling on her front tooth, and within a few days the filling came off! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTIST AT ALL!
Avoid this dentist in New York, NY if you care about your health. After his work, I got an infection, but he said it was fine. Went to another real dentist who was shocked and fixed the mess. Seriously, let my experience warn you—this place is dangerous and unprofessional for dental care. Stay safe!

Honestly one of the best dental experiences I’ve had. I have a serious fear of dentists; Dr. Yeung and his staff put me at ease. Answered all of my questions, fears- explained my teeth in detail. Was very gentle on the cleaning because I was so nervous about my bleeding gums. Clean dentist office; I cannot recommend Dr. Yeung enough!

did not enjoy my visit at all here. First, I called my insurance TWICE to make sure Dr. Yeung accepted my insurance, and they made sure of me that they did.
I went there on my day off, only was told that he did not. I was like, no way, I called the insurance myself right there on my cell, and only to find out that yes, in fact, he did take my insurance! And the receptionist called one time again after that to confirm again. only that it wasted about 70 mins of my time!
fine, whatever, life goes on, I was walked back to the examine room by the dental tech. She shoved a piece of uncomfortable rubber in my mouth, and next thing I knew, she started to shoot xray films WITHOUT telling me first. And I DID NOT actually wanted to have xrays done!
So I quickly told her, "I am sorry but I did not want the xray!" but she ignored my request, said "just a few more!" and continued to shoot the xray films.
Later, Dr. Yeung came over, and said angrily, "first of all, I don't even know if I am gonna get paid today because of your insurance, and if you don't want to have the xrays done, I cannot guaranteed if you don't have any tumors or cavities in your mouth and you would need to sign a consent that says we will not be responsible for anything and that it will take me a long time to actually even type up for the consent!"
first of all, we called like a million times to made sure that my insurance was ok! and second of all, I have every single right to refuse the xrays! And his receptionist already took a whole bunch WITHOUT MY CONSENT!!!
and third, I am a freaking medical provider myself and I can guarantee you that I have no freaking tumor or cavities what so ever! And to just hear such impersonal and rude things coming out from a dentist was just purely UNPROFESSIONAL!
the dental tech walked over with a consent for me to sign soon after that. I, of course signed them. And this was already 90 mins PAST MY APPOINTMENT TIME.
by the time I was seen, all i needed was a cleaning, I felt like Dr. Yeung rushed through the whole thing. The whole time, water was dripping down my neck from the corner of my mouth
Afterward, the dental tech came over to give me a "dental polish" which left me with a bunch of toothpaste on my mouth that she failed to tell me about.
I walked out of the clinic, feeling humiliated, and with a bunch of toothpaste around my mouth that I later discovered.
And guess what?! just saw my dental claim, and all the UNWANTED XRAY FILM is gonna cost me $50 bucks out of my pocket cost.
NEVER AGAIN AM I GOING TO SUCH A PLACE.
