Came in with pain on tooth #13 that was spreading to #12 and #14. Instead of figuring out where that pain was coming from—which another dentist later diagnosed easily—the dentist here just removed tartar from my entire upper left and right gum lines. It helped with some gum pressure and pain, but didn't do anything for the main reason I was there. This wasn't what I came in for and should've been handled during my cleaning months ago. I had a cleaning in August and told the hygienist something felt off, but it wasn't addressed. For dental cleanings in Youngsville, LA, this was pretty disappointing.

Honestly, I'm really disappointed with how Youngsville Dental Care handled my appointment. I've told them for years to update my contact number, but they kept using the wrong one. Because of that, I never got any appointment reminders and my appointment was canceled without me knowing. I took time off work and pulled my kids out of school for this visit, only to find out it was canceled. While I get that missed appointments are an issue, the way this was handled was unacceptable. I've been a customer since they opened and was always happy with their service. But last time I went in for a cleaning, they charged me $70. My dental plan covers two cleanings, x-rays, etc. a year. When I asked why, they said it was because I hadn't had a cleaning in a while. I work out of state and have trouble making it in. Since I take good care of my teeth, the cleaning was quick and easy. Don't get their logic. Might check out the new dental office down the street in Youngsville, LA.

Honestly unsure how this office has so many 5-star reviews. Over the last year and a half, we've had repeated issues, from constant appointment rescheduling to being pressured into services like deep cleanings that second opinions said were unnecessary. The final straw was getting a balance for a procedure from March that was already paid, then another invoice nine months later. None of it adds up, and the lack of clear billing is concerning. At this point, I don't feel confident with their payment plans in Youngsville, LA.

First off, the DR here double and triple books hisself. I spent 5 hours there one day because he comes in your room works on you for 5 minutes and goes to another patient’s room, and so on. I’ve never been somewhere where your allotted appointment time isn’t time that is spent with you as a patient. Secondly, I needed a partial adjustment and they did it while the whole right side of my mouth was numb. Tell me how I’m supposed to tell you how it feels when my mouth is numb?! Thirdly, I needed a crown, they did the impression and put a temp crown that fit my partial. I waited 4 weeks and did not receive a call. It took me 1 whole week and 4 voicemails to finally get someone on the phone, who tells me, we call you when your crown comes in, puts me on hold and now all of a sudden my partial is there. No telling how long it had been there. I spent over $1500 for fillings and a crown. I go to my appointment this morning and of course he is seeing multiple patients at one time, I let the DR know after 1 hour of being there that I needed to get to work. After saying that, now all of a sudden my crown was made too bulky and doesn’t fit my partial and he tells me I need a new partial!!!!! What???? You obviously didn’t do your job correctly starting with the impression! How you gonna tell me after spending that much money on work and a crown that I now need a new partial? People don’t have money growing on trees, if this would have been done correctly I wouldn’t be having this problem. If you wouldn’t be seeing multiple patients at one time this would have not been rushed and done correctly. Safe to say I will NOT be returning to this office!!!!!!
