I just needed a temporary filling while waiting for Service Canada approval, but they treated me like a child—even with my mom there for support due to my anxiety, they kept talking to her instead of me. Plus, the manager and dentist spoke in their own language while I was in the chair, which felt disrespectful. And getting my X-rays sent over took all day until another dentist in Ontario had to call them. Definitely wouldn't recommend their emergency dental service.

My cleaning at this Hamilton dentist was super rushed—the hygienist seemed like he didn't want to work, spending maybe 5 minutes cleaning before polishing. While rinsing, he got water in my nose and just watched me struggle to clear it with the chair reclined. The whole thing took less than 15 minutes, and they claimed no cavities were found, which seems impossible that fast. Then they charged my benefits nearly $300 for what felt like a cakewalk. Not a great experience with dental hygienist services here in Ontario.

Since getting the Canada Dental Care Plan, I've had many appointments at Areej Dental in Hamilton and I'm so, SO happy with them. The front desk ladies are always nice, pleasant, and professional. A special shoutout to Dr. Hegazy—he's done an amazing job on my teeth, his work is perfect, and he always makes sure I'm comfortable and not in pain. His assistants are kind too, making visits even more pleasant. If you need a dentist in Ontario, I absolutely recommend their dental implants and other services.

The harassing phone calls from this Ontario dental clinic are out of control—I've gotten at least 20 in the past month. I made my next check-up appointment 4 months ago, but they keep calling to come earlier because they're slow and have no patients. My wife even told them to stop, but that only lasted 10 days before I got 5 calls in an hour. Don't believe the positive reviews; they feel like made-up family-run dribble. Not a good look for a dentist in Hamilton.

I first went here back in 2023. The receptionist was nice and my initial visits to get cleaning & fillings done were fine. I went back here for an Invisalign consultation a couple months later. On the day of the appointment, I had to wait over 2 hours before someone got to me. There was another gentleman who came in without an appointment, but they were friends with the dentist working there. They were treated first, even though I had an appointment. I was still waiting in a dentist chair an hour past the office's normal closing time. It was a big waste of my time and I haven't been back since.
The reason why I'm writing this review now is because I now go to a different dental/orthodontics clinic where my time is valued and it reminded me of my negative experience here.
