Been going to Martindale Dental in Hamilton for a few years now. Found them when I moved and needed a new dentist - they're walking distance from my apartment in Jackson Square. This review is specifically about Danielle, their dental hygienist. As a grown man who still gets anxious about dentist visits, I actually look forward to my cleanings with her. She's brilliant at her job and has amazing people skills that make you forget how nervous you were. For teeth cleaning in Hamilton, she's definitely the best.

Had a really disappointing experience at this Hamilton dental clinic a couple months back. They did 7 fillings for me, but they were done so badly I had to go back twice. The assistant just dismissed my discomfort, and now I've been self-conscious about my teeth ever since. These fillings broke so easily - first time that's ever happened to me. Honestly regret using my dental coverage here for what turned out to be terrible dental service in Jackson Square. Their hygienists might be okay, but I wouldn't trust them with fillings again.

Avoid this Hamilton dental clinic at all costs. I've never had the same dentist twice here, and they've made so many mistakes. It got so bad I was getting completely different messages from one dentist to another. One suggested I needed a cavity filled, then when I came back for tooth pain, another dentist said I shouldn't have had the filling at all. Terrible experience with their dental service in Jackson Square. Would never recommend Martindale Dental to anyone in Hamilton - go somewhere else.

Went with my sister and our 4 kids. Only her 3 were seen, and whenever I asked about my child being seen, I continuously got told "soon". Meanwhile they had multiple people going in and coming out before my daughter. Will not be back.

The dentist was excellent, but the receptionist completely ruined the experience. She was extremely rude, dismissive of my disability, and unwilling to accommodate the only time I could attend. Her lack of empathy and unfiltered attitude toward everyone was shocking. I won’t be returning because of her.

So, my old dentist retired. And he was very gentle. So of course ive been trying to look for a similar experience. Especially for someone who hasn't worked on me since being a child.

Indefinitely. One of my best experiences. I got a tooth extraction today and these ladies helped me so much, they were so kind, and patient. And they absolutely helped me calm my nerves about the procedure. They asked as well if I'd like some music too. Which I think is awesome that they try and create that atmosphere.
She talked me through it. Even when the freezing went in.. FLAWLESS.
I absolutely let them know how good they were.
Martindale dentist in Jackson, is not what it used to be. For those who are older and remember other staff from before. They are AMAZING. highly recommended.

My children have had a wonderful experience here in the last few years that they have been at this dentist, they are very informative and will make you feel relaxed and comfortable before, during and after treatment. My kids are always happy to go to the dentist now as they have been made to feel welcome and important at every visit. The staff are all so lovely and helpful. Receptionists are so friendly and welcoming. They greet you right away and have a smile on their faces. The staff are also super friendly. I had Ginni and she made me feel so comfortable and made sure I had a good experience. I get pretty anxious going to see the dentist but she made me feel calm and relaxed. Nothing but great things to say from my first visit. I'm glad I chose this dental office.
